  • shifted to mouse control scheme for portals
    • alternative IJKL control scheme, changeable via options
  • made portal placement more consistent

8/4:

  • title screen, level select (only lvls 1 & 2), pause menu
  • portal frames are prevented from spawning in the wall
  • prevent portals from spawning on top of each other (inconsistent thus far)

7/29:

  • second level now accessible on win of first level
  • player can place mirrors to portal around level now!
    • only two mirrors on first level and portal placing disabled on first level
    • portal placed enabled on second level - it is in fact required

7/22:

  • two mirrors placed in level to aid player
  • press E to spawn mirror frame to see where you can spawn a portal (you cannot spawn your own portals yet)
  • press Q to cancel the mirror frames

7/16:

  • mirror test
    • plans to random spawn a couple mirror pairs in level
  • fog covers walls now
  • increase fog spread again but not too fast or else it is unfair

7/11:

  • trying to improve gamefeel
    • player takes damage faster
    • fog cover items to hide from player and will cover walls too but i guess unity did not save that edit lol
    • fog spreads faster

7/9:

  • random initial fog spawn at start of level to spawn within radius of center of level: this way where the fog spawns is automatically variable between levels
  • player takes damage faster with hopes of increasing stakes

7/8:

  • updated fog expansion algorithm to a more desirable form
  • working on random fog spawn but it is still broken right now so that is why there is random fog in the center of the map
  • updated pixel art but still trying to make tiles consistent

6/29:

  • added win screen with functional continue button (just resets current scene)
  • changed asset coloring to experiment with darker style
  • added test fog animation

6/24:

  • added dash with cooldown
  • added items as goal 
    • game will show win screen or something, right now timescale just sets to 0
  • reset game on no health

6/16:

  • player damage while in fog
